This Privacy Policy explains how MeKoVon handles information associated with mekovon.com and initial business inquiries. Separate engagement terms may address information shared during consulting work.

Information you choose to share
If you contact us by email, your message may include your name, email address, business name, and any details you provide. We use that information to respond, understand your needs, discuss potential services, and manage related communications.
The website’s inquiry tool prepares a message in your email application. You review and send it yourself. It does not automatically submit your message to a website form database.
Please keep initial messages general. Do not include Social Security or tax identification numbers, payment card information, bank credentials, or confidential records. Arrangements for any sensitive documents should be established separately as part of an engagement.
Technical information and hosting
When you visit, website hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and access times. That information supports delivery of the website, troubleshooting, and security. Infrastructure providers’ logging, backup, and retention settings govern their handling of those technical records.
Cookies and external fonts
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as signed-in administration and session management. Administrative cookies differ from what a public visitor encounters. The current consulting pages do not include an advertising pixel, analytics platform, newsletter signup, checkout, or appointment booking flow.
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to obtain those files, exposing technical connection information such as your IP address and request details. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its practices.
The website does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. You can manage cookies or block external resources through your browser settings; some settings may affect appearance or functionality.
Providers and other disclosures
Hosting, email, and technology providers may process information needed to operate the website or handle communications. Your chosen email provider also processes a message when you send it. These providers are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and security
Inquiry correspondence is retained according to its purpose: responding to the inquiry, maintaining related business records, administering an engagement, or meeting legal and recordkeeping obligations. Different records may require different retention periods. Technical records and backups may also be subject to provider retention settings.
No website, email system, or method of storage can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending sensitive records through an initial inquiry, and arrange an appropriate exchange method when such documents are needed.

Applicable rights and the response depend on the relevant law, verification of the request, and any obligations to retain information. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records and verify the request; please do not send sensitive identifiers in your first message.

If you follow a link to another website, that website’s privacy practices apply. MeKoVon does not control external websites, email applications, or their tracking settings.
Business audience
This website describes services for business owners and people planning a business. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through an inquiry, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
